Happy 25th!

Last Monday night, our small group from church came up to our house and they surprised me and Patty (whose birthday was the 20th) with a gorgeous and delicious chocolate cake! It was quite decadent but aren't birthday's supposed to be that way? ;)

On Wednesday, my actual birthday, I woke up earlier than I meant to and got my oil changed up at the Nissan dealership. Then I drove down to Vinings and met Lauren and Valerie (my two old roomies) for lunch! It was great getting to see them and they gave me a very cute Vera Bradley diaper bag! After lunch, I went back up to Marietta and got my tires rotated. Then I went home to clean the house. Just writing all that makes me feel old...that that's what my birthday consisted of...

However, when Daniel got home that night, he showed up with two gorgeous bouquets of flowers for me to put up around the house. He also had a really sweet note waiting for me that, of course in my emotionally fragile state these days, made me cry! :)

Andi, Greg, Dellaina, and Wyatt came over that evening to celebrate both Greg and my birthdays. We grilled out and had a good time. Andi and Dellaina had made us cupcakes and Daniel brought home my only request from him for my birthday, a cookie cake. :) Andi and Greg gave me a really cute maternity top AND just what I wanted - money to go get my nails done. I have been saying for weeks that I wanted to go get them done to pamper myself because my nails are growing like crazy these days (thank you prenatal vitamins!). Now I have an excuse to go next week also, with Doug and Morgan's wedding coming up next weekend!
