I’ve been trying to post this update for a while now (obviously, it was back in July) but Blogger hasn’t been letting me upload the videos. Sooo…Andi finally clued me in on the cool new program that will let me post blogs much faster and easier. So, sorry for the delay, here’s his day-after-his-birthday-party post. :)

Samuel had so much fun with all his new great STUFF! the day after his party. I just wanted to share some funny pictures in our morning...
Mom and Dad gave him this huge squishy, rubbery, fingery? blue ball. He loved it, of course.
He got several really great board books, too.
He will sometimes drag them over and hold them up to us for us to read to him, but mostly he just loves to sit on the floor with his books all around him and "read" through them himself. He loves turning the pages and if they have any sort of interaction on the page (lift-the-flap, textures, etc.) he'll spend extra time on them. :)
He loves playing ball which is great because several people gave him toys that have colorful balls and he has had so much fun figuring out where they're supposed to go with each different toy. John and Jessica gave Samuel some cool mini cars that are just his size, but I swear he was having more fun trying to fit them back into the box! He did finally catch on after
we drove a few around for him, but it was pretty funny.
This evening we opened more gifts for Samuel from Daniel's family. He got some more great interactive board books, a really neat tractor book with wheels on it, and some adorable clothes for this fall and next spring (which I'm most excited about)!
Unfortunately, I still can’t post what I thought was a really funny video of Samuel playing with a puzzle given to him by his Aunt Andi and family. Boo! Oh well, hope you enjoyed anyway.

yay, I'm so glad it's easier, so we can get more updates and pictures! We should have watched the video tonight! ugh! (If it's bigger than 100MB, it won't upload)
Great pictures - it was fun to see him and everyone else at his birthday party.
